Remember that easy way to filter elements in Canva, before 2025 updates? I miss it.

The new layout has been here for a bit already, but I've spoken to some people recently who are still unsure.

In this quick walkthrough we look at:
• Where to find the Elements filter options
• How to filter by colour, orientation, animation, and Free vs Pro
• Why some options may not be there (options depend on free vs. pro)
• That annoying little arrow that’s easy to miss

Stop Canva turning text into hyperlink automatically.

Ever pasted a web address into Canva and had it instantly turn existing text into a clickable link?

Sometimes you want the full URL to be visible and readable on the page.

In this quick tip, I show you:
• How to paste a URL as plain text
• How to turn it into a hyperlink only when you want
• How to remove the underline if needed

Kids want to use devices, we want at least some of that time to be beneficial for them.

During holidays it can get increasingly tricky to enforce limits on screen time.

Kids Get Creative With Canva is an online course for 6-12 year old kids. It gives you the chance to provide an option for positive screen time for your kids.

Most kids are already using Canva at school and at home, and they're so fast at picking up new technology it's can seem like they have it covered.
