PASAR MALAM opens tonight at Walyalup Fremantle Arts Centre (WFAC) at 6 pm!
A Krack Studio exhibition in partnership with 16albermarle Project Space, Pasar Malam features large-scale screenprints by 15 Indonesian and Australian artists, exploring the transgressive allure and vibrant energy of the Indonesian night market.

Alongside Pasar Malam, participating artists Leyla Stevens and Ida Lawrence also present works at WFAC. Stevensโ GROH GOH Rehearsal for Rangda reimagines the Balinese mythological figure Rangda through a contemporary feminist lens, while Lawrenceโs A Bigger Misha explores themes of connection, memory and migration through layered narrative painting informed by experiences across Australia, Indonesia and Germany.
