A beautiful statement piece for a coastal home.

‘In profile, Stegostoma tigrinum’ by Ian Daniell brings a sense of scale, movement and connection to the ocean.

Rendered in Ian’s distinctive minimalist style, the works soft palette and elegant composition allow it to anchor the room while maintaining a sense of lightness and calm.

There’s a moment in Ian Daniell’s FATHOM where the reef feels almost within reach.

Inspired by the WA coastline and Ningaloo, these new coral works hold both the beauty and fragility of life beneath the sea - built through layered processes of paint, tape and movement.

It’s the final weekend to experience the exhibition at Cottesloe Gallery. Don’t miss seeing this one in person!

All works are available online.

This weekend we celebrated the opening of Fallen Canopy by NSW artist Judith White, joined by Judith in the gallery as she shared the evolution and inspiration behind this striking new body of work.

Returning to ideas first explored in Estuary, Fallen Canopy (2017), a significant commission for the foyer of the InterContinental Perth City Centre, this exhibition marks an important continuation of Judith’s practice.

Through layered compositions of water, gathered vegetation, shifting light and subtle movement, Fallen Canopy considers both what is held within the frame and what exists beyond it.

Drawing on the quiet rhythms of the natural world, the works reflect processes of chance and accumulation, leaves carried by wind, currents shaping movement, heat and light grounding each painting in place. While movement is ever present, there is also a profound sense of stillness, inviting slow looking and contemplation.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us for such a special afternoon and congratulate Judith on a beautiful and deeply considered exhibition.

Fallen Canopy continues at our Subiaco gallery until 8th June. We warmly invite you to spend some time with the works and experience them firsthand.

Fallen Canopy by Judith White is now open at our Subiaco Gallery.

You might recognise her work from the InterContinental Hotel in Perth City, where Estuary, Fallen Canopy has been installed for nearly a decade as a major commission through Linton & Kay Galleries.

This new exhibition continues that body of work, exploring water, light, movement and landscape in a striking new series.

We’re also delighted to be welcoming Judith to Perth this Saturday. Join us from 2pm for a glass of wine, a chat with the artist, and a celebration in the gallery.

Fallen Canopy continues until 8 June.
Open Monday to Sunday, 10am–4pm.

It’s the final weekend to experience SAECULUM by Melissa Clements at Linton & Kay, Subiaco.

A meditation on ambition, mythology, and human nature, Saeculum is an exhibition that reveals itself slowly - each work deepening the meaning of the next.

Melissa’s richly layered oil paintings are truly something to experience in person, where their scale, texture, and detail can be fully appreciated.

As interest in Melissa Clements’ practice continues to grow, this final weekend offers a rare opportunity to encounter (and collect) works from this remarkable body of work before the exhibition closes.

Join us for a fascinating afternoon of art, science, and marine conservation as artist Ian Daniell and coral scientist Dr Kate Quigley come together for a special conversation at the Cottesloe Gallery.

As part of FATHOM, Ian Daniell’s first solo exhibition with Linton & Kay - this inspiring discussion will explore coral reefs, climate change, and the future of our oceans, uncovering how both art and science can help tell the story of one of the planet’s most fragile ecosystems.
