The upcoming exhibition, Australiana: Designing a Nation, is a collaboration between Bendigo Art Gallery and the National Gallery of Victoria. The exhibition will showcase the works of over 200 artists and designers from a diverse range of fields, including visual and decorative arts, photography, illustration, furniture, jewellery, moving images, and fashion.
Among the notable works on display will be two iconic pieces of Australian art, Shearing the Rams by Tom Roberts and Moody's Pub by Russell Drysdale, as well as several other masterpieces from Ken Done, Albert Namatjira, and Emily Kame Kngwarreye. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to view a sculptural exhibition entitled 100 Australian Ice-Creams by Melbourne-based artist Kenny Pittock.
The exhibition will be open to the public free of charge and will be held exclusively at the Bendigo Art Gallery from March 18 to June 25.
