First hosted in 1972, the event has become a significant gathering for classic boat enthusiasts, featuring a spectacular parade of vintage vessels that “hoist a spar”. The event attracts a diverse fleet of classic yachts from across the country, showcasing the timeless beauty and craftsmanship of these historical boats.

Sydney Heritage Fleet are excited to participate again in the Transport Heritage Expo, on the long weekend on Saturday 3, Sunday 4 and Monday 5 October.

1902 Steam Tug, Waratah and 1902 Steam Launch, Lady Hopetoun, will be doing cruises from Darling Harbour on all three days, with two cruises each day. Vintage buses from the Sydney Bus Museum will deliver passengers to board. As usual, these cruises have been quick to sell out.
