It’s almost that time again – lights, laughter, gatherings. But as I reflect on the season ahead I’m reminded of something important: the tree isn’t the heart of Christmas — the people around it are.

Over the past year I’ve seen firsthand how the moments we share, the connections we foster, and the support we give one another matter far more than the perfect decorations or the ideal scenario. We’re not defined by a single moment or image — we’re defined by the relationships we nurture and the kindness we show.

As we step into the festive season, I’m thinking of you — friends, colleagues, clients, collaborators — and I feel deeply grateful. Thank you for being part of my year, for the conversations, the challenges, the breakthroughs, and the times we paused together.

Here’s to wrapping up the year with warmth and intention — and to stepping into the next one with even more connection, compassion, and community.

Many artists want to enter art licensing.
But many feel stuck.

They think: “I don’t have an agent.” “I’m just one person.” “The U.S. market feels too big.”

Here’s the truth:
You don’t need a big team to build a licensing career. You need clarity. Strategy. Consistency.

In my latest article, Navigating Solo, I break down practical strategies for artists and surface designers who are building their licensing journey independently.

Inside the guide: • How solo artists can approach the U.S. market strategically
• How to track trends without losing your identity
• How to manage seasonal deadlines efficiently
• How to create globally relevant work, even from smaller markets

The licensing world rewards preparation, not perfection.

If you are building quietly… If you are creating consistently… If you are ready to think globally…

This article is for you.
