Artist Sarah Eve has the gallery open tomorrow (Saturday 30 June) from 10.00am-2.00pm. Sarah's exhibition 'Ancient and Ephemeral' is open just a little while longer, running until 2 June.

These works are a heartfelt visual exploration of the Australian landscape inspired by ancient rock formations that have stood as silent witnesses to the evolution of land, life and humanity. Sarah Eve approaches these geological forms as nature's first sculptures - enduring presences shaped over millennia.

A sneak peek of ‘Ancient and Ephemeral’ by Sarah Eve, opening this Friday night from 5.30pm-7.30pm!

There will also be a free Artist Talk and Q+A happening on Saturday at 2.00pm (23 May), a chance to meet the artist and get to know about thoughts and processes behind her work.

The works being exhibited are an exploration of the Australian landscape, inspired by ancient rock formations that have stood as silent witnesses to the evolution of land, life and humanity. Through Abstract Realism, Sarah Eve reinterprets these landscapes with colours drawn from memory and experience, evoking a sense of awe, connection and contemplation. The exhibition reflects on our impermanence in contrast to the enduring power of the land, inviting audiences to consider their own relationship with place and their responsibility toward environmental respect and preservation.

The gallery will be open Saturdays 23rd and 30th May from 10.00am-2.00pm in addition to our usual weekday hours.
