UP NEXT // Minaxi May: Refracted Rhythms: Geometry in Colour • Opening Saturday 3 October, 2–4pm

For her latest exhibition, Minaxi May transforms everyday measuring tools into vivid, dynamic sculptural compositions. Rulers, set squares and protractors shift from instruments of precision into energetic explorations of geometry, colour and movement.

Upcycled materials and translucent acrylic combine to create fluid, dimensional forms that celebrate play, structure and chromatic intensity. The result is a high-energy reimagining of the visual language of measurement.

UP NEXT // Joanna Lamb: A Romance in 2-Dimensions • Opening Saturday 3 October, 2–4pm

New paintings by Joanna Lamb explore place and perception through colour and form. Drawing on photographs gathered over many years, she revisits familiar urban and landscape subjects, distilling them into simplified forms and fields of colour.

Joanna will create a new wall painting in the gallery as part of the exhibition, extending a small-scale work beyond the canvas and into the surrounding space. From 25 September, visitors are invited to view the work in progress and experience the painting as it unfolds throughout the exhibition.

TOMORROW EVENING // Jon Tarry in conversation with Paul Uhlmann ⚡

Join Jon Tarry and Paul Uhlmann at PS Art Space on Thursday 17 September at 5.30pm for an artist talk exploring Jon’s current exhibition, Something in the Sky.

With Paul leading the discussion, hear more about Jon’s practice across sculpture, sound, light and immersive installation.

Inspired by walks through the South West landscape, Paul Uhlmann's paintings find something miraculous in the everyday, inviting us to look more closely at the ‘expansive breathing world’ around us.

A glimpse of Ombra I in Angela Stewart’s home and studio 🌹

Taking its title from the Latin meaning ‘to touch lightly’, Angela’s solo exhibition Lambere unfolds through layers of colour, softly worked surfaces and flashes of gold. Brushwork lingers, edges dissolve and gestures are interrupted.
