Explore over 200 vehicles, including Daniel Ricciardo’s F1 2014 Red Bull Racing Car, and over 15,000 scale models - the largest collection in Australia.

Open daily 10am-4pm (excluding Christmas Day). The Motor Museum of Western Australia is not for profit trust manned by a very dedicated group of volunteers since 1994. With well over 200 amazing cars, motorcycles and performance vehicles the Motor Museum of Western Australia is an educational delight for all school children, a must for every rev head, a nostalgic reminder of youthful desires. The Museum's shop sells a range of motoring inspired automobilia. Located in the heart of picturesque Whiteman Park, the Museum has ample parking,delightful lakeside picnic and barbecue facilities, and is a comfortable 30 minute drive from the centre of Perth. Simply load into Goggle maps Motor Museum of WA or Whiteman Park for the quickest route.

❤️‍🔥 On Display - 1954 Bondley Special Race Car ❤️‍🔥

This single seat racing car was built by local enthusiast Peter Bond.

It is based on a Ford Model T chassis.

Motive power is from a Triumph TR2 4-cylinder OHV engine driving through a Triumph gearbox, to a Holden differential.
The single seat body was constructed from aluminium over a tubular tube frame.

The car has competed in many local events including York, Northam, Albany, Goomalling and other local racing events.

💥Sounds of the Motor Museum💥
1947 Byfield Riley Custom Tourer

Based on a 1½ litre RMA Riley this beautifully designed and crafted, hand-built car was fabricated in an open backyard shed in Bayswater by Cliff Byfield who was 93 years old when he completed the car.

The car has a two plus two style of bodywork with two ‘Dickey Seats’ in the rear of the car with the passengers having their own separate windscreen. Typical of many English cars of the pre-war period

The 1930’s style aluminium body was crafted on an English wheel and shaped over sandbags with all window frames, rear seat screen and double hinged cover being hand made by Cliff. The car Is fitted with Jaguar steering, suspension, and brakes.

Over his lifetime, Cliff assembled and restored at least 15 cars, each involving frame welding, chassis construction, bodywork design and fabrication, and even custom upholstery. We are very fortunate to have three of his vehicles on display at the Motor Museum of Western Australia inside Brockwell Hall.

1964 Renault Caravelle

The Renault Caravelle is a sports car manufactured and marketed by Renault from 1958 to 1968 in a single generation, as a rear-engine, rear-drive, two/four-seater coupe or convertible designed by Pietro Frua of Carrozzeria Ghia, sharing its floorpan and engine with the Renault Dauphine.

The Floride was presented at the 1958 Paris Motor Show and was launched in the United States and Canada as the Renault Caravelle a year after its introduction in Europe. Outside of North America and Britain it was, until 1962, marketed under the nameplate Renault Floride.

The car was offered as a 2+2 coupé, a 2+2 cabriolet and as a convertible, the latter being a cabriolet with a removable hardtop, which is the vehicle you are looking at now.

The Caravelle is powered by an R8-derived engine of 1108 cc was introduced to the Caravelle, producing 55 hp (41 kW). The car had a top speed of 89 mph (143 km/h) and accelerated from 0-60 mph (97 km/h) in 17.8 seconds.

This particular car has been lovingly restored by a Perth based French Vehicle enthusiast and is regularly shown at car shows throughout Perth & regional areas.

This Park favourite has taken home the Tourism Excellence Award at the 2026 Swan Chamber of Commerce – City of Swan Business Awards. Since 1994, the Motor Museum has been sharing Western Australia's motoring history through its collection of classic cars, motorcycles and stories from the road.

It’s the Museum’s first award in 30 years, recognising the dedicated team and 85+ volunteers who bring WA’s motoring history to life year-round. 👏

As we mark World Tourism Day, it’s a great time to celebrate the places and people helping create memorable visitor experiences right here in WA. 🌏
