💡 This mini leadlight was inspired by .l.wood’s visits to Pawson House while planning PRESSED TIME. Now temporarily residing in the very stairwell it is based on, the piece looks right at home 💡

〰️ NOW SHOWING .l.wood 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 〰️

Through collage, ceramic-based sculpture and the integration of remnants/remains of abandoned works from the past 20 years, 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘛𝘪𝘮𝘦 is a means to examine perceived failures in artmaking and other life mishaps. Material, social, intimate relationships; pressed, stretched, expanded and shifting. Tension palpable, sometimes some things break. Reparations can be both inadequate and ingenious. Confined in their capsules, pieces of paper, pewter and clay converse in an obtuse isolation. Too big for their bubble, put in their place. Mediums pushed to thresholds, yet still hold and still care.
