Studio Joy is available to hire! 💛

We’ve created a flexible, welcoming space where you can bring your own people, ideas and experiences to life.

And here’s a little peek at what’s already happening in the space:
🧘 Move & Meditate with Amanda — Mondays, 9–10AM
🌿 Body Talk with Ash — Thursdays, 9AM–1PM
💃 Sorelle Dance Studio — Thursdays, 3:30–6PM
🎶 Sound Healing with Kira — 9th Sept, 5–6PM

Whether you’re looking to run a regular class or host a one-off event, there’s room for your idea at Studio Joy. ✨

Today we’re celebrating the wonderful woman behind The Joy Collective. Our beautiful Evie! 🎉

What started as an idea, a vision and a whole lot of heart has grown into the colourful little corner of Maleny we all get to enjoy today.

Ev has poured so much creativity, love, energy and care into creating a space where people can come together, share a meal, discover art, make connections and simply feel at home.

We feel so lucky to have Ev at the heart of The Joy and are incredibly grateful for everything she continues to create for our community.

So today, it’s all about you, Ev! We hope you feel just how loved and appreciated you are.

Can you believe it’s been a whole year?

One year ago, we reopened our kitchen after renovations and what a year it’s been.

Since then, there have been countless coffees poured, plates shared, cakes celebrated, conversations had, new faces welcomed and plenty of delicious things coming out of the kitchen.

But the biggest part of reopening wasn't the kitchen itself.

It was getting to have you all back around the tables. 💛

Thank you for supporting us through the renovations, coming back through the doors, bringing your friends and family, and continuing to make The Joy what it is.

Here’s to everything we’ve shared over the past year...

and everything still to come. 🥂

We’re talking a whole lot of sweetness, a little slice of Joy, and plenty of colour, because apparently food tastes even better when it’s this pretty. 😉

From homemade cakes and sweet treats to colourful platters made for sharing, there’s always something delicious happening behind the scenes.

And yes... someone has to taste-test it all. It’s a tough job, but someone’s gotta do it. 😂💛

Our garden refresh is officially underway! 👀💚
Our friend, neighbour and handyman Owen has started creating in the garden and getting it ready for what’s next. He’s started with this amazing water feature really letting his creative flair be fully expressed!

We’re so excited to create an even better space for you to sit, connect, eat, chat and enjoy The Joy, whatever the weather decides to do. ☀️🌧️

EV’S OFF ON AN ADVENTURE!

Our lovely Ev is taking a little road trip for the next couple of weeks, so we’re sending her off with plenty of love, good wishes and hopefully lots of beautiful stops along the way! 🚐

We’ll miss having her around The Joy, but we’re very excited for her to enjoy some time exploring, recharging and collecting a few stories to bring back with her. 👀
