Maleny Art Direct Showcasing a selection of local Maleny Artists and Art.

Maleny Art Direct is situated in the main street of the picturesque town of Maleny, set amongst the characteristic rolling hills of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Maleny is becoming well recognised as South East Queensland’s Art Destination and here at Maleny Art Direct we are passionate in sharing Maleny’s finest artwork with the greater community. Owned and operated by local residents, Joanne Howard (curator) exhibitions, showings, previews and events are all run from this special art space, right in the heart of Maleny. Created locally, artworks on display have been carefully selected so that work is unique, diverse and will appreciate in value and provide the owner the special satisfaction of supporting talented local artists from Maleny. I believe that the artist, their meanings and the storytelling behind their artwork and the creating process is as equally important as the artwork itself. An ever evolving space, with artwork changing to compliment the time of year and what is happening in the local community.
