Wyreena offers an abundance of arts and cultural experiences and opportunities. A place for the community to come together, to enjoy, participate and explore the creative arts, within a welcoming and inspiring environment. Folio creation is a big part of any senior art or design subject, and Wyreena's Folio Development course is specifically designed to support students to grow their folios, develop their ideas and increase their creative skills. Any student aged 15-18 who is studying an art or design subject at school will benefit from this course.

We've still got some spaces available in our Term 3 art classes for 5-7 and 8-12 year olds. In after-school classes at Wyreena, children learn skills, develop new friendships and learn to express themselves creatively.

Places are available in Drawing Skills, Mixed Media, and Drawing and Painting, commencing from the first week of Term 3.

Do you know a 15-18 year old who is studying an art or design subject in Term 3? Our new Folio Development Course is especially designed to complement the curriculum, helping them develop ideas and artwork that will contribute to their folios.

Tutor Julie Twomey is an experience secondary school art teacher, who will support students to develop and grow their creative skills across the course.

Stuck inside during these rainy school holidays? Why not book into a Wyreena Workshop! We've got lots of creative activities planned, like Upcycled Underwater Animals, where 5-7 year olds can make their own 3D sea creature out of recycled materials!
