Edwina Corlette Gallery is committed to the long–term promotion of a select group of contemporary Australian and international artists whose practices employ a range of media including painting, photography, sculpture, installation and digital art. Located on Brunswick Street in New Farm, the gallery offers a diverse annual curatorial program of solo and group exhibitions, collaborations, artist talks and offsite projects and participates in art fairs.

Eleanor Louise Butt

Eleanor Louise Butt is a Melbourne-based artist. She completed a Bachelor of Fine Art with Honours at the Victorian College of the Arts, University of Melbourne in 2013, and a Master of Fine Art by Research at Monash University in 2026. She has presented solo exhibitions in Melbourne, Sydney and the UK, and has been included in group exhibitions in Los Angeles, Copenhagen, Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and Geelong.

In 2019, Eleanor was the recipient of a tenancy at Porthmeor Studios’ Studio 5, St Ives, Cornwall, UK - the first female Australian artist in the studios’ 140+ year history. She was the winner of the Muswellbrook Art Prize for painting in 2024 (acquisitive), the George Hicks Award in 2012, and has been a finalist in further prizes including the Geelong Contemporary Art Prize, Len Fox Painting Award, Bayside Painting Prize, Muswellbrook Art Prize, Ravenswood Australian Women’s Art Prize, John Leslie Art Prize, R&M McGivern Prize, Waverley Art Prize, and the Macquarie Group Emerging Artist Prize.

Bundit Puangthong led Analog Art Club at TarraWarra Museum of Art recently.

Bundit Puangthong บรรฑิต พวงทอง

Bundit’s distinctive painting draws upon Thailand’s temple painting tradition and Melbourne’s street and graffiti culture, celebrating the ‘in-betweenness’ of living within two cultures.

At Analog Art Club, Bundit shared and demonstrated his painting process and introduced different approaches to stencil painting.

Analog Art Club is a joint initiative of Public Galleries Association of Victoria and ArtsHub.

‘John Bokor is a graduate of the National Art School, Sydney. John is a multiple-time finalist in nationally-recognised art prizes such as: the Sir John Sulman Prize (2021, 2019); Tattersall’s Landscape Art Prize (2019, 2018, 2017); National Still Life Prize (2019); Dobell Drawing Prize (2023); Mosman Art Prize (2023, 2018, 2017, 2015, 2013, 2010); Paddington Art Prize (2017, 2014); NSW Parliament Plein Air Painting Prize (2012 winner); Kings School Art Prize (2016 winner); and the Fleurieu Landscape Prize (2013). His work has been exhibited in solo and group exhibitions throughout Australia, the USA and Europe, and is held in major public, regional and university art collections.’

‘Despite the instant familiarity of his subjects, realism is not an easy fit in John Bokor’s work – he finds it too constricting, too frustrating, too beige. Instead, he cherry picks from his experiences and influences to create scenes that are inspired by real life, but not beholden to it. If something isn’t working, he allows himself the freedom to scrape it all away and start over, adding, subtracting, and rebuilding elements until something fantastical but emotionally authentic emerges. What he’s creating in these narratives is an interpretation of the world more attuned to the human experience, with all the overlapping memories, converging viewpoints and imperfect realities we encounter.’ - Carrie McCarthy, 2021

Join us with John Bokor at the gallery on Saturday, 10 October 2-4pm for an afternoon of celebration for his latest body of work, and to gain an insight into his practice. All Welcome.

‘Some of the paintings are drawn from spaces, places, and objects within my own environment, while others began with sourced images that I alter and reimagine. In this way, the paintings become a kind of personal, constructed reality like a story in which I create the narrative, shifting and reshaping what is familiar into something less certain’.

‘LUSTRE: Contemporary Artists in Greece & Crete is an exhibition that brings together artists from Australia and New Zealand, some with Greek heritage and family connections to soldiers who served during the Second World War. In October 2025, the artists undertook a two-week journey from Northern Greece to Crete, retracing the footsteps of Australian war artist William Dargie, who documented the sites where ANZAC forces fought during the 1941 Greece and Crete campaigns. In response to the landscapes, battlefields and contemporary Greek communities, the artists created new works reflecting on shared histories of endurance, protection and sacrifice’.

The travelling exhibition will be on view at Rocky Hill War Memorial and Museum in Goulburn from 15 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Joanna Logue’s solo exhibition ‘I was the River Gum and the Pond Lily’ is on now and current until 29 September.
