Day Gallery

Day Gallery presents all mediums of creativity from working contemporary Australian artists.

This is aimed at documenting current visual aesthetics, social and environmental values, Australian culture. In Unison the gallery is interested in Australian historical pictorial works from pre federation -generally 1800-1900. We endeavour to create an overall visual document of specific points in Australia’s past.

Each work is made with BKs signature use of Korean Hanji (mulberry tree paper). BK creates beautifully textured works that explore connection, culture and place. His distinctive use of Hanji brings a tactile quality to each piece, creating artworks that are rich in texture and are very uplifting!!!

Welcome Jo Langley ✨

We’re delighted to welcome Jo Langley, a Blue Mountains abstract artist, to Day Gallery.

Working with acrylic on paper and canvas, Jo creates expressive, playful compositions through bold colour, layered forms and intuitive mark-making. Her works sit between abstraction and landscape, inviting the viewer to find their own sense of place within each energetic composition.

We’re loving the colour, movement and spontaneity in these new works. 💗
