🌟 Have you seen our amazing display at Bendigo Marketplace?

Huge thanks to Bendigo Marketplace for providing a space for us to share some items from our collection with the Bendigo community.
A special shoutout to our amazing volunteer, James, for curating and setting up such a fabulous display.

Swing by and experience it for yourself!

We're excited to announce that Bendigo Historical Society has been nominated in the Not for Profit category of the 2026 Bendigo Business Excellence Awards.

This nomination reminds us that Bendigo Historical Society is built on community, from volunteers and members to visitors and researchers.

Have you visited History House, used our research services, attended an event or connected with our volunteers?

We’d love to hear about your experience. Your feedback helps tell the story of what we do and why it matters.

Visitors and Volunteers: There are road closures in place near History House, at the corner of McKenzie St and Forest St.
We are still accessible in a car and on foot via View St.
However parking is limited in McKenzie St between View and Forest Streets.
If you are coming to us from Forest Street, the footpath closest to the centre of Bendigo is the most accessible.
