There is a world that children see, shaped by what they notice, question, and imagine.

In Alexandra, children reflected on fairness in their everyday lives at home, at school, and in their communities.

“Little things can make a big difference.”

Through The World I See, we see how small acts like helping a friend, speaking up and sharing ideas, can create equity and connectedness in communities.

What does equity look like where you are?

Children do not only imagine the future, they design it.

Welcome to The World I See, a programme where children explore, play, and think critically about their communities. In Thembisa, participants mapped their neighborhoods, noticed challenges, and began imagining solutions rooted in care, fairness, and possibility.

“I want a place where everyone feels safe.”

“I wish for the world to have more peace, freedom and democracy.”

Through play, storytelling, and design thinking, children show us that understanding rights, responsibilities, and democracy can be joyful, creative, and full of hope.

Join us in listening, learning, and imagining together. If children designed our cities, what would change?

We’ve stepped into 2026 with renewed energy and more engagements for The World I See programme 🥰

Deep gratitude to our dedicated team for creating spaces that invite curiosity, courage and imagination. And heartfelt thanks to the schools and communities who choose to journey with us; taking time to explore the Constitution, our judicial system, and the values that shape a democratic society.

When children are invited to understand democracy early, they grow into adults who will protect it fiercely. ♥️

With gratitude to our partners who make this work possible.

Now a certified Kundalini Yoga teacher, she shares mindful movement and breathwork with beginners, offering Kundalini Yoga upon request.
