Join us Friday the 25th September for a special discussion with Inherited Futures artist Dr. Prinitha Pillay

We will be having an intimate panel discussion exploring the intersection of clinical practice, art, and the relationship among women during times of critical health transitions.

Grounded in Dr. Pillay’s dual practice as a clinical oncologist and visual artist, this discussion centers on how women navigate vulnerability, care, and solidarity at the threshold of illness and mortality.

Join us for a woodcarving workshop facilitated by Simon Moshapo Jr.

Participants will move beyond traditional crafting to explore wood as a partner in healing—transitioning from seeing the material as an object to engaging with it as a living dialogue.

What to bring & expect:

This is an intensive and exciting experience! We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for dusty work.

Bring along a journal to document reflections and “messages” from the wood.

Come with an open mind and a willingness to let the material lead the way.

Make this a fun team building outing or a bonding session with friends or family
