Eleanor May Watson, There is no Time Like Spring, is now open until 06 June

‘Watson describes her paintings as ‘emotional landscapes.’ The new works bring people into those landscapes for the first time and her canvases brim with life; colours shimmer, flowers spill from vases, patterns run across curtains, objects collect on table tops. And threading through all of it is light, which functions less as a formal device and more as the paintings’ true subject. It slides off petals, animates rooms, and gives shape to the people standing inside them. ‘ (SR)

Beautiful shot of Natasha Michaels’ ‘Centrefold’, 2025 in its new home.

This work was acquired through our presentation at the inaugural last October and followed Natasha’s time on The Brocket Residency. The artist’s use of the monotype printing process is integral to the (re)telling of the stories in her work in which she is investigating the sitter/model in old master paintings that are also depicting classical tales of women

We love to see images of works in their new home so please keep sharing 💫

While on a site visit to a very special part of Northumberland for an upcoming project last week … more on that later.. I was drawn to these beautiful Victorian stained glass windows in the chapel where the lead cames (or calmes) are guided by the drapery in the images.

As a former fashion curator and historian, I am obsessively drawn to depictions of fabric and drapery through art history and I revisit it a lot in my own presentations and installations.

Just another lovely detail in what will be a magical exhibition 💫

Room With a View 💖

We commissioned this large scale limited edition mural by in 2020 for ‘s studio collection - new ways to experience art and interiors through those Covid months.

The magnificent 3x11m frieze was taken from a stunning large scale monotype depicting the Canopus at Hadrian’s Villa at Tivoli which is widely considered to be a memorial to Hadrian’s lover, Antinous, who died in the Nile River

The artist chose the ruinous imagery as an expression of human aspiration and the hope we place in art to transcend it.

Happy Valentine’s Day 🌹

It also made the centre pages of Magazine thanks to wonderful interior writer who’s been a generous champion of the Fair (and one time selection panelist) for many years 💫

Liorah Tchiprout, The Hour Arrives , and Is Soon Gone (Study), 2025.

This beautifully striking monotype by celebrated artist , who we’ve worked with for many years, is the study for her stunning painting of the same name shown by Miami Beach 2025

We love this series of monotypes shown at the recent edition of for as they mark a new boldness in Tchiprout’s application and process and mark a new chapter in the artist’s journey as she moved her studio from north to west London. 💫

Liorah Tchiprout joined us on The Brocket Residency in 2022 after four years of showing with us through WCPF where she was consistently Lizzie’s top pick!
We went on to give her her first painting and solo London exhibition before she found representation with Marlborough and now Pippy Houldsworth Gallery.
