Our kiddos got hands-on last week as they explored the wonderful world of woodworking! 🔨

Each child had the opportunity to learn new skills, get creative, and make their very own October-themed wood treasure box!

We think they did an amazing job, and we're so proud of their hard work! These little builders really impressed us!

Some of you may have already spotted our newest addition for the fall season… our very own Apple Stand! 🍏🍎

Our little farmers and bakers can shop for apples, fill their baskets, bag up their purchases, and even whip up their very own pretend apple pies! 🥧

But there's more to this adorable little setup than meets the eye! At Piper’s Place, we believe that play is one of the most powerful ways children learn.

Through imaginative play at our apple stand, little learners can practice:

🍎 Early Math Skills – Counting apples, sorting colors, and comparing quantities.

🗣️ Language & Communication – Playing shopkeeper and customer, asking questions, and learning new vocabulary.

🖐️ Fine Motor Skills – Picking up apples, filling bags, and arranging pretend pie ingredients.

🤝 Social & Emotional Skills – Taking turns, sharing, cooperating, and exploring different roles.

🌱 Creativity & Imagination – Creating their own stories and bringing everyday experiences to life!

Grown-Up Play Tip! Next time you visit, join your little one at the apple stand! Ask them to sell you three apples, help you bake a pretend pie, or tell you where apples come from. Simple conversations and playful challenges can turn a few minutes of fun into meaningful learning opportunities!

We can't wait to see all the imaginative adventures our little visitors create this fall! 🍂

Come play, explore, and learn with us at Piper’s Place Discovery Museum!
