Join as at the FERNANDINA BEACH PUBLIC LIBRARY for today's Brown Bag Lunch at Noon!
For the past 15 years, local history buff Chip Kirkpatrick has traversed the region with his metal detector, unearthing a treasure trove of unique and historically significant artifacts.
This talk explores the stories behind these remarkable discoveries, offering a rare glimpse into the physical remnants of Florida's past and highlighting the most unique site he has ever hunted right here in Fernandina.
Chip Kirkpatrick is a lifelong resident of Northeast Florida, published author, and storyteller. His discoveries have been featured in numerous books and international magazines across the US, UK, and Scotland.
Kirkpatrick is a regular contributor to American Digger Magazine—the premier publication for archaeologists and metal detectorists—and a frequent guest on its weekly podcast, Relics Roundup. A dedicated docent at the Amelia Island Museum of History, this event marks his sixth presentation in the Brown Bag series.
