These dark, thorn-strangled woods are treacherous and filled with the heaping graves of long-dead adventurers. I'd lend you my +1 mace, but it wouldn't make the slightest difference. Only fools and heroes survive. ROLL HIGH OR DIE TRYING.

We're only two weeks into this month but I think we've established the fact that the woods are a horrendous, evil place, and humans are much better off living with Aspen Dental and Burger King and Jimmy John's and Border's Books and Supercuts and Starbucks and Spirit Halloween and Kohls and Domino's Pizza and Five Guys and Payless Shoes and Chili's and Target and Ashley Furniture and Tire Warehouse and 24-Hour Fitness and Chipotle and Walgreens and a functional Taco Bell/KFC combination. That's how human beings were MEANT to exist. Not in the filthy woods! We are not beasts!

Essential camping DOs and DON'Ts:

-DO pick a campsite close to the trail, with solid ground, away from dead trees and potential flood risks.

-DON'T pick a campsite close to the lair of a mask-wearing lunatic.

-DO bring plenty of high-energy snacks, like walnuts and cashews.

-DON'T pick a campsite immediately right next door to the lair of a deranged, mask-wearing killer lunatic, on an island, with no possible way of getting outside help, and then split up into small groups to get picked off one by one.

That covers everything!

Saturday, July 18th, come get your freak on with the Kinky Dance Party!

We've got a meet and greet, dancing the night away, and a special flogging demonstration too! Guests are encouraged to dress appropriately for the occasion!

10$ cover and, naturally, this is a 21+ event, folks!

Friday night is piano night! Starting at 6, David will be playing the tunes. Just come by and listen, or make a request from our collection of songs, one of the largest in the country! And, if you want to, feel free to sing along onstage!

We'll have a slightly different plan for this piano night: In addition to our usual First Friday hosting of the Upper Valley Welcome Wagon, we will have live jazz from 5-7, and then piano music after that.

Ah, the forest! A lovely place! A place filled with verdant groves, sparkling streams, and happy forest creatures! Bluebirds! Baby deer! Foxes with clever little paws! Ah, to watch them run and play!

That's not like the woods, though. Woods is different. Only bad things happen when you're in the woods. Never, ever, ever confuse the forest with the woods.
