The National Vietnam War Museum was founded to become the national venue providing an atmosphere of learning about the Vietnam War era for people of all ages, nationalities and political points of view. The museum will tell the unbiased story of the more than 5 million servicemen and servicewomen who served in Vietnam, the civilian contractors who supported their efforts, the Vietnamese people, their culture and history, and those on the home front, both supporters and protesters of the war.

After the EF3 tornado tore through our grounds, so much was lost—including many of the flowers and gardens that brought so much beauty to the museum each spring.

We’re especially grateful to the Parker County Master Gardeners for all the love, care, and hard work they poured into these spaces. Their dedication made the grounds truly special, and we appreciate them more than ever during this rebuilding season.
