6 years ago vs 2 days ago. I probably spent more time forging the tip into just one of those blades than I've spent in total in the knife on the right. The difference, to me, is amazing. This is so much fun.

So I was challenged tonight to work a 3/4 by 3/4 piece of 316 stainless steel. If you caught the twitch stream you saw what happens when yours truely meets a stubborn piece of steel. Tiny wasn't the exception. She had to come out to get it to move. Camera was bouncing, stuff was falling off the walls, the anvil was sliding across the floor it was chaos and fun. Here are tonight's projects. The ladle in the middle was the stainless, a quick and easy bar spin, and a serving spoon with bottle opener. I'm tired now.

So this year has been up and down as far as live demonstrations go. I've had a couple of cancelations but I've picked up a couple to replace them. As of this morning I have just added a new demonstration. I will be at the Harnischferger Park Fall Festival on September 26th. I'll have more info coming as I get it, but according to the flyer, they'll have pancakes. If the prospect of me with the mobile shop and all you can eat pancakes doesn't get your attention, you need to check to see if you're breathing and enjoy having fun.

Got some work done on the guard for the claymore project. Also picked up some new to me tools; punches, sets, and a small air hammer. I'm going to need all of those as I work to expand my skills and inventory.
5 weeks until the next fair and then it's 4 in about 6 weeks. I won't have much time to rebuild or complete sidequest projects.
