The oldest art museum in the Crossroads area, The Nave Museum features five to seven diverse and compelling exhibits each year, both classical and modern, ranging in styles from portraiture and maintains a gallery of landscapes by celebrated Texas artist Royston Nave (1886-1931).

Gear up for Session II of our Passport to Art: Kids Summer Art Camp!

Session I is currently underway, and we’re having an amazing time making unique arts and crafts every day! Take a look at some of these photos from Session I. Authentic snacks from each country of the day gives kids a chance to try out something new! Join us to learn about different types of art and cultures from all around the world!

Our July session will bring a whole new array of countries for kids to learn about!

Session II Dates: July 13th - 17th.

🌎The class is from 10:00am to 11:30am.

🌍This program is intended for kids ages 7 through 12.

🌏Each session is $50 per child for members and $75 per child for nonmembers.

🌎Spots are limited! Only 13 spots left for Session II.

We had an amazing opening yesterday evening at our very first pop-up event! “From Art Walk to Art House” featuring the art of The Crossroads Art House! 🎨

This event was a smash hit, with speeches from the many artists on display, a bagel toppings bar, live music and more! This limited time exhibit is a fun and dynamic showcase of the talent and creativity found within the crossroads art community! 🫶🏻

We’d love for you to come on by the museum this week to check out this truly unique exhibit. 🏛️

From Art Walk to Art House, featuring The Crossroads Art House!

The opening reception will be held today at The Nave Museum from 6pm to 8pm! Admission is free! We invite everyone to attend! We’ll have food and drinks for all of our visitors. So come on down to The Nave to experience the opening of this brand new community-oriented event!

Last Friday, we had an amazing morning with museum guests at our free exhibit closing event, ARTSpeak featuring Richard Korczynski!

Visitors got to view the art of Korczynski and Mary Lou Klotzman one last time at The Nave. Richard Korczynski was our main event as we got to listen to him talk about his experiences as a photographer, his inspirations, travels across the U.S and much more! Our guests asked many great questions, and we all got some insight into the mind of an artist. With coffee and cookies, we relaxed as we chatted about art in this leisurely morning event.

We’re excited to announce another free exhibit event coming up tomorrow at 6pm. The opening night of our very first pop-up exhibit, “From Art Walk to Art House” featuring the art of The Crossroads Art House! Everyone is invited to attend! We’ll have a variety of snacks and drinks to enjoy while you view the new exhibit. Stop on by tomorrow evening at the Nave for a fun experience you won’t want to miss!

Mary Lou Klotzman and Richard Korczynski “Bluebonnets”

Featuring beautiful oil paintings with details in every brushstroke, and dynamic photography of real life Texas wildflower landscapes! Klotzman and Korczynski’s duo exhibit has captivated the imaginations of many Nave Museum visitors! Be sure to stop by and view these artworks one last time before they leave this Friday, June 12th!

We still are accepting registrations for both of our June and July sessions!

Our summer camp will take kids on an artistic trip around the world as they learn about the art and culture of multiple countries, eat authentic snacks and make cultural art of their own to take home!

Session I: June 15th - 19th
Session II: July 13th - 17th

Every morning from
10:00 - 11:30 AM

Take a look at the amazing paintings our teen artists made last Friday at our latest Art Experience: Teen Edition class for the “Bluebonnets” Exhibit! The teens were tasked with painting a landscape using at least three elements from the artworks around them. 🖼️

They included wooden fences, ponds, longhorn skulls, farmhouses, and more! They did a wonderful job painting dynamic scenes of wheat fields, deserts, and grassy plains. Each had their own unique style and explored their artistic creativity to make such beautiful paintings! Be sure to join us for another creative evening of making art at The Nave, at our next Art Experience: Teen Edition, on July 24th!
