Main Street Vermilion is excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 All Washed Up Driftwood & Beach Glass Art Contest, returning to downtown Vermilion this summer.
The popular event will take place Saturday, July 11, 2026, from 10AM-2PM in Exchange Park and will once again showcase imaginative artwork created from driftwood, beach glass, and other Lake Erie-inspired materials.
Now entering its eighth season, All Washed Up continues to celebrate creativity, sustainability, and the natural beauty of Lake Erie through one-of-a-kind artistic creations made by artists of all ages and skill levels.
New this year, the event is expanding to officially welcome beach glass art entries in addition to traditional driftwood creations. The event will also feature beach glass and driftwood art vendors offering handcrafted items for sale, along with family-friendly kids activities throughout the day.
βWe continue to be amazed by the creativity and talent this event attracts each year,β said organizers with Main Street Vermilion. βAdding beach glass art opens the door for even more artists and makers to participate while celebrating the treasures of Lake Erie in a whole new way. Weβre also excited to create an even more interactive experience for families with art vendors and activities for kids.β
Artwork will be displayed throughout the day for visitors to enjoy while judges select winners in multiple categories. Awards will include divisions for youth, teens, adults, teams, and a Peopleβs Choice Award determined by public voting during the event.
