We are in the museum showroom today with our 2013 Corvette Grand Sport from Bondurant High-Performance Driving School. Thanks to our good friends over at CTEK Chargers l we were able to get it started in no time with their “CS FREE” 12V Portable Battery Charger & Maintainer (with Adaptive Boost).

Having not been started for a little while, the Bondurant Vette was in need of a quick boost to get it up and running. CTEK’s portable charging unit was extremely easy to use and worked instantly, providing the Corvette with the perfect amount of power needed.

You can charge it up, take it with you, and use it anywhere — the “CS FREE” works with or without connection to a power outlet, whether you’re adaptively boosting, charging or maintaining your vehicle battery. Learn more at www.CTEK.com today!

We channeled our inner Jayprehistoricpets at last weekend’s Protective Film Solutions event “Supercars at Sunset” with “Snakes on Supercars” and his carnivorous friends.

Snakes on a Ferrari F40 is definitely not something you see everyday! It sure made for quite the spectacle at what was yet another amazing supercar event put on by the team over at PFS.

Did you happen to catch this stunning 1963 Corvette Stingray “Split Window” at our recent Corvettes and Coffee event this past weekend?

Such a beautiful example of arguably one of the most iconic Corvettes ever produced — A true piece of automotive history, this masterpiece marked a pivotal moment as the first-ever Corvette to feature a split rear window, capturing hearts with its daring design and unmatched performance. From the racetracks to the silver screen, the ‘63 Stingray carved its path into pop culture and remains a symbol of timeless elegance and innovation.

1968 Ford Mustang | The “Burgundy Beast”

Since being so generously donated by our now dear friend, Ed Fuller, this ‘68 Mustang has been a fan favorite in our muscle car row here at the museum.

As beautiful as this classic mustang is, it is the story behind it that makes it truly one of a kind. Shortly after Ed drove it off of the Rodman Ford lot in Foxboro, Massachusetts (1968) the US Army came calling. This meant Ed and his now beloved “Burgundy Beast” would be heading overseas. It arrived in Germany at the Bremerhaven docks, where it would not only travel all over Deutschland, but log miles through Switzerland, France, the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Austria, & Italy meeting so many new friends and creating lifelong memories along the way!

Come by and see it today, along with the car’s full history as told by Ed Fuller himself, detailed on its custom placard!

On this day, 36 years ago (July 21, 1987) — The Ferrari F40 was unveiled at the Maranello Civic Center in Italy. Described by some as Enzo Ferrari’s final masterpiece, the was the last Ferrari he would personally commission before his passing in 1988. Designed to celebrate 40 years of Ferrari car production, the Ferrari F40 is now arguably one of the most iconic cars ever produced.

What better day than today, the Birthday of the , on nonetheless, to share our recent trip to the private dyno for our 1991 Ferrari F40’s second and final post-major service trip. We were beyond pleased with the engine health and performance, as it produced 508 HP (439 WHP) with 16.1 lbs of boost. Thanks to Pure Turbos, RC Fuel Injection, Ferrari Repair (FAI), GTO Engineering and our in-house, master Ferrari mechanic, Vince Marconi, our F40 is running better than ever before!

1954 Chevy Bel Air | “Pueblo Tan”

Last year during our annual Marconi Toy Drive, we were able to surprise our Founder, Dick Marconi with special gift for his 88th birthday — We were able to obtain a 1954 Chevy Bel Air in pueblo tan and cream. This car is very special because it’s the same year, make, model and color combination of the one that he drove to California in. In 1959 Dick Marconi drive cross-country from Gary, Indiana towing a worn out U-Haul trailer and $500 in his pocket alongside his wife, Dorothy, and son, John Marconi in a car just like the one you see here.

In an article from RM Magazine in 2015, when asked what car is missing from his collection, Dick said, “If you ever come across a mustard-tan 1954, Chevy 2-door with a cream top and a trailer, call me. That would complete my collection.”

Our museum now feels whole with this car as a permanent piece of the collection. Come by and see this piece of Marconi Family history!

1995 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta | Private Dyno

It has been almost a year since we completed the major service on our 1995 Ferrari 355 Berlinetta. It was time we bring it over to the private dyno to see what kind of impact the service made on the engine and what kind of numbers it would be recording. The dynamometer is used to provide the most accurate reading of things like engine horsepower, torque, and the ratio of air and fuel in the engine. As changes are made to the vehicle, this allows us to see firsthand how the power of the engine has been affected.

We were pleased to see that it recorded 311 WHP (387 HP) which is 7 HP more than the stock reading in 1955 of 380 HP. This tells us that the major service resulted in optimal engine health and performance. Thank you to AJT Performance for assisting us with the dyno of our 355 Berlinetta.

1957 BMW Isetta 250 “Bubble Window”

Not your everyday BMW — this Isetta is one of the most unique pieces amongst our collection. The 1957 BMW Isetta 250 is said to be the most rare of its kind. Known for its iconic bubble windows, refrigerator style door, and microcar size.

The history behind the Isetta from the BMW archives — “BMW was on the brink of bankruptcy in the mid-1950s. Motorcycle production was declining. Luxury vehicles like the 503 and the 507 were so expensive to produce that BMW suffered losses on these models. “So the number one priority was to put a car into production that would make us money right away,” explains Axel Klinger-Köhnlein, an expert at BMW Group Classic...

BMW needed a new model – one that would not require a lot of development costs. BMW found its solution at the 1954 Turin Car Show. At the Iso Rivolta booth, an Italian maker of refrigerators and mini cars, there was a three-wheeled car with a huge door (which looked surprisingly similar to a refrigerator door) in the front. It was called the Iso Isetta. The BMW delegation acquired the licensing rights for the Isetta and for the production equipment as well.”

Our 1997 Ferrari 550 Maranello returns to the Race Shop today for a quick post-service check up and to be fitted with Hill Engineering spacers. The stock 550 Maranello’s tire spacing in relation to the wheel well is rather significant due to the tires being inset quite a bit. So on this we will be taking a look at some different spacing variations to see which will work the best for this particular application.

[PART 2] - As close to a barn find as it gets, our newest acquisition, this iconic 1988 BMW 635csi is now home amongst our collection here at the Marconi Automotive Museum & Foundation for Kids.

Our Co-Founder, John Marconi, along with his son Vince Marconi ventured over to Arizona in search of some hard to find Ferrari parts. Little did they know they would stumble upon this hidden gem in the process. A make and model of BMW that was once close to Founders Dick and John Marconi, now finds its way back to the museum and rightfully a part of our permanent collection.

“Children are 100% of our future.” — A saying that has been passed down through generations in the Marconi family, and is the very idea in which the Marconi Foundation for Kids was built on.

A large part of what we do is educating and inspiring the future generation every chance we get. Oftentimes, through group tours and school field trips much like you see here. Educating them on historical preservation, vehicle maintenance, or about the positive impact we can make in the community when we all come together for a great cause. This is truly what it’s all about!

If this is something your school or organization may be interested in, contact us today and schedule a guided tour with our Co-Founder, John Marconi or CEO Monique Marconi. Thank you for helping us, help kids in need! 🙌❤️

Hi, I really enjoyed touring your amazing facility.
It would be great if you could expand on the history of the Ayrton Senna F1 car you have within your collection! Thanks!
Hey Piasan.....Frank Sciarra.....Sports Gallery......Racquetball.....70's?
I'm not sure if the Museum acquires vehicles, to add to its already very impressive collection. If so, my vote would be the 2019 Ferrari 488 Pista. Amazing machine!
Please post some photos of the excellent and rare (1 of 6) Blue Ferrari FX in your collection! Thanks
