Horsehead Nebula and Lily
The night sky is full of incredible sights, if you have a telescope and know where to look! The Horsehead Nebula (Barnard 33) is a small, not very bright object located in the Orion constellation. You cannot see it with the naked eye. Young stars there create ultraviolet light and areas of gas and dust. It's a reflection nebula, which means it reflects the light of nearby stars. The shape that looks like a horse's head is actually a dark cloud, surrounded by pink gas, which silhouettes the horse head shape. I photographed this from our backyard. I love the colors in this image. I decided to place this lily with this deep space object because of the similarity in color.
I believe this image would look great printed on metal, as it would glow, like the nebula seems to glow. If you love the color RED, this one's for you! Or, have this printed on a T shirt or hoodie!
