Today is Holocaust Survivor Day, a day not of mourning, but of celebration. A day just for them.

At TJMHC, we honor the bravery, resilience, and strength of those who survived the Holocaust and built lives of meaning and purpose in its aftermath. To every survivor: we celebrate you. We carry your legacy forward.

This Thursday! The Rabbi Joseph H. Gumbiner Project is proud to partner with Conecta Arizona to host the Southern Arizona premiere of Mosaicos, an exploration of the migrant, Latin, and cross-border beauty framed by the challenging Sonoran Desert.

The project portrays the convergence of fragments of life, culture, and memory—assembled with respect, empathy, and dignity—to demonstrate that our strength lies in our diversity. These photographs build a bridge between generations and geographies, between past and present, and between who we are now and who we once dreamed of becoming.

Gallery chats have returned! On April 9th we welcome our first guest, Robert Leopardi. Leopardi is a wine industry veteran who will share his stories from his unique collection of antique corkscrews from around the world. For four decades, he has collected the work of European Jewish emigres to Israel, including that of Maurice Ascalon, founder of the mid-century decorative arts manufacturer, Pal-Bell. This gallery chat will explore the lessons of history, Judaism, and perhaps learn a little bit about wine along the way. This event is free, but please RSVP by visiting: https://www.tjmhc.org/programs-and-events/
