~The gallery is open Thurs-Sat from 12-6 PM, with the exception of every 3rd Saturday from April thru October (Tappahannock Farmers' Market Days)-
we will be open from 9 AM-3 PM.~

THERE’S STILL TIME! DON’T MISS ART ON THE WALL!

Imagine bringing home an original painting of a place you love—a familiar stretch of river, a historic Tappahannock street, or a beautiful Essex County landscape captured by an artist’s eye. You can do just that at Art on the Wall!

Join us Saturday, October 24, from 5–8 p.m. for the exciting finale of TAG’s 7th Annual Tidelands Plein Air Festival, where talented artists from around the country have spent four days painting the beauty of our region.

Discover art. Find your favorite. Bring it home! Artwork created during the festival will be available for purchase. Imagine enjoying your own piece of local beauty every day—or sharing the story behind it with friends gathered around your dinner table.

Your purchase makes a difference. Buying original art supports working artists, strengthens our local creative economy, and helps TAG keep art accessible to everyone in our community.

Make an evening of it! Enjoy delicious heavy hors d’oeuvres, fresh oysters, drinks, and wonderful company. Many of the artists will be there to talk about their work and the inspiration behind their paintings. It’s a fabulous opportunity to connect with artists, meet fellow art lovers, and celebrate the creative spirit of our region.

TAG is looking for talented artists and artisans from the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck to be part of our 2026 Holiday Pop-Up Market!
We’re creating a special shopping experience filled with unique, handmade treasures—perfect for those who want to give gifts with a little more heart and a lot more creativity.

Join TAG Guild Artist Barbara Woodward every Wednesday for Guided Open Studio!

Wednesdays | 10 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.

Looking for dedicated time to create alongside fellow artists?

Bring your current project, explore your creativity, and enjoy the camaraderie of working alongside other artists. All mediums are welcome!

Each session wraps up with a relaxed, group sharing time where artists can show what they’re working on, exchange ideas, celebrate discoveries, and offer one another encouragement and inspiration. It’s a wonderful opportunity to learn from different perspectives and grow together in a welcoming, creative community.

What happens when metal meets wool, strength meets softness, and two artists approach three-dimensional art from opposite ends of the spectrum?

Join us at TAG for Art Official Intelligence, featuring the compelling sculptures of John Latell and the richly textured, plant-dyed fiber art of Karen Doyle. Two distinct artistic visions invite us to consider how ideas, materials, and experiences take shape in the hands of an artist.
