SwellColors is the glass studio where artist Mary Tantillo creates many of her works. The gallery features many different types of artists (photography, oil, acrylic, watercolors, pottery) from all over the US. If you are interested in learning about the process of making glass art, we offer many workshops every day suiting many ages and skill levels. Here are some of the things we offer: stained glass, mosaics, lamp working, torch blown ornament making, fusing.

We have some really fun people outside today now that the weather is finally nice making beautiful sun, catchers and bowls infused glass. Took a quick stop in Lyme Regis on the Jurassic Coast. Some of the homes here predate the Saxon era and the beach is full of fossils. It’s beautiful. Next stop is to learn some new techniques in glass making.

Now available in our Surf City studio. This stained glass on glass mosaic is formed on a salvaged antique wooden window. My inspiration for the piece came from my failed cold plunge attempt last week with my friend. I got half way in and wimped out. I came into the studio shortly after and made this piece to envision warmth. That Jersey water is pretty brisk these days.
