Tess was trained in England and is a third generation art restorer. With over 30 years experience, she can restore the beauty to a painting neglected from years of dust and darkened varnish or repair a tear with such care that it becomes invisible. Services include: cleaning, stabilization, patching, retouching, varnishing, rewiring, restretching, reconstruction of broken ornament on frames etc.

The painting was rippled and covered in a coating of ni****ne with a tear in the middle.

California Mtns. with too much over painting in the sky. This had been done previously to conceal problem with flaking. The overpainting was removed and the painting was lined to prevent any further flaking. A darkened varnish was cleaned off and a a ragged tear was also repaired.
