𝐅𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐥𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐥 𝐡𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬!
Downtown Stuart Florida & East Stuart Historic District have been added to the National Register of Historic Places by the National Park Service (listing and link below). This is a significant achievement for local historic preservation. Congratulations to all who worked so hard to gain this national recognition.

The National Register of Historic Places is the official list of the Nation's historic places worthy of preservation. Authorized by the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, the National Park Service's National Register of Historic Places is part of a national program to coordinate and support public and private efforts to identify, evaluate, and protect America's historic and archeological resources.

𝐇𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐲 𝟏𝟐𝟓𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐇𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐠𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐞𝐮𝐦 𝐛𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 and special thanks to so many of you that joined us to celebrate the 125th Birthday of one of Stuart's most beloved historic landmarks. Stories were swapped, snacks & beverages were consumed. There was even some dancing 🕺 Even an epic storm couldn't dampen the enthusiasm. Feel free to share your photos with us. If you missed this great time, don't worry, we are open every day 10am - 3pm. Admission is free (and so is the AC).

For 125 years, one building has quietly witnessed the story of Stuart.

It began as Parks General Store, became the Stuart Feed Store that generations remember, and today serves as the Stuart Heritage Museum—preserving the people, places, and stories that shaped our community.

Join us as we celebrate this remarkable milestone with an evening of history, memories, music, and fellowship.
