We make a variety of functional stoneware and porcelain pottery. Our pottery is safe for use in the oven, microwave and dishwasher. It is lead free and completely safe for use with food of all types.

Don't be telling anyone, but here is a sneak peek at some of the pieces we will be bringing to the Virginia Clay Festival. We are in the midst of a glazing marathon as we prepare these pieces for glaze firing early next week and then into boxes for the Festival.

A beautiful load from a perfectly fired glaze kiln this morning. The shop is filling with a wide variety of pieces. Now we start boxing future loads for the Virginia Clay Festival in September.

Another load of pottery firing today. Our reduction flame right before shutdown this afternoon.

Another glaze firing just completed. This is the reduction flame coming from our inspection port. Notice the orange, blue and green in the flame. These come from the iron oxide, cobalt carbonate and copper carbonate we use in the glazes we create. This load will be coming out on Monday.

We opened the Kiln to another beautiful load this morning. These will be in the shop later today.

We will be running back to back kiln loads for the next few weeks as we prepare for the Virginia Clay Festival in September.
