Love the idea of a Spearfish Museum? We're on the lookout for some awesome volunteers to join our crew!
Whether you're interested in a long-term role serving on our development committee or just love rolling up your sleeves to organize and make events happen, we want YOU! 🙌

Currently we are seeking support with:
- day-of-the-event set up, clean up, lead, etc.
- gardening and weeding

Get ready for our last Open House of 2026!🏡 Spearfish memorabilia of Arne Koski, 97 year old resident of our town, will be on display.

Tomorrow, Friday Aug. 28, 1-6pm
421 Meier Ave. Spearfish
Suggested donation: $10

These photos of the Ryan Barn and silos that were on the corner of Michigan and 10th and much more will be on display. Both photos were framed with much love in some of the old barn wood. 🖼

📢ATTENTION PLEASE: At a recent event the photo of the barn went missing from the Koski house. If anyone knows where the photo of the ban is, please contact [email protected]

We would also like to use this opportunity to announce that the Koski family plans to donate both photos to the Spearfish Museum once established. We are looking forward to preserve this part of Spearfish History!

Thank you to all the people who came to support the Spearfish Museum on Saturday for the first ever Chuckwagon Supper Fundraiser of many more to come!😄

We had an amazing number of 50 people in attendance. Special thanks to Catering by Dave for preparing a delicious dinner and Crow Peak Brewing Company for their beer. Thank you to the volunteers of our Board and Committee for organizing and setting up the event. We couldn't have done this without you!

This 76-year-old mobile kitchen has serves the Spearfish community and Saddle Club for generations and was once hand-painted by Gaile Vance Be**en. We would love to hear about your very own memories with the Chuckwagon in the comments!
