Little STEM Saturday is this Saturday. This workshop is for children ages 5-10 and it runs from 10-11 AM. The theme for this month is Our Lungs and Respiratory System. Little STEM Saturday is completely free, but space is limited so you must reserve your spot ahead of time. Call (864) 583-2777 to reserve your child’s spot today.

Registration for the fall session of our aviation program for students is now open! This program is completely free and is for students ages 16-20. We also have one remaining slot available in our summer session. Go to spartanburgsciencecenter.org and click on “Aviation Program” under our “Programs” tab to register. The Spartanburg Science Center inspires excitement for science through interactive exhibits, live animals and programs that excite, engage, and educate. Our small, hands-on science center offers guests of all ages more than 23 exhibits.

School may be winding down, but we are just getting started. May is shaping up to be a very busy month and we want you to be a part of it! We are working hard to make this the best summer ever, and May is just the beginning.

Summer camp registration is in full swing! We have more than doubled our summer camp offerings from last year to this year and are looking forward to a very busy summer schedule. We wanted to share just a few of our unique and exciting summer camp sessions with you all. This is only HALF of the camps we are offering this summer, so please head to our website to see the rest of the camp catalog. If you see a camp that interests one of the young scientists in your life, please sign them up soon as spots are filling up fast! Summer camp registration is NOW OPEN! Head to our website and look under the tab labeled “Parents.” Due to high demand, we have more than doubled our summer camp offerings for this year. Morning camp sessions will run from 9-12 and afternoon camp sessions will be from 1-4. Childcare for campers taking camps all day is available for purchase.
