🦬 ANOTHER BABY!! The Herd Has Grown Again! 🦬

Just one day after welcoming Stude to the Continental Divide, we were thrilled to discover another new addition to the herd!

Meet Baker, our second bison calf born this week. ❤️

Baker was born to momma Lily and dad Caesar, who came to us from Yellowstone National Park. Strong, healthy, and already staying close to mom, Baker is settling right into life on the prairie.

Together, Stude and Baker pay tribute to South Bend’s proud Studebaker heritage while celebrating the continued growth of our bison herd.

The Continental Divide Park
has become home to miles of scenic trails, restored prairie habitat, and one of the most unique wildlife experiences in Northern Indiana. Now, visitors have the chance to watch the next generation of the herd grow up right before their eyes.

Come hike the trails, enjoy the beautiful prairie views, and say hello to Baker and the rest of the herd! 🌾🥾🦬

And who knows… with the way things have been going lately, there may be even more little ones on the way. 👀

🦬 🍼A New Addition to the Herd! 🦬

On June 1 at 9:02 PM, we welcomed a beautiful baby bison to the herd at the Continental Divide! ❤️

In honor of South Bend’s rich Studebaker heritage, we are excited to officially introduce our very first calf born at the Continental Divide Park, Stude!

Stude was born to momma Petunia and dad Caesar, who came to us from Yellowstone National Park. Petunia and the rest of the bison herd joined the Continental Divide in 2024, helping bring the prairie landscape to life right here in South Bend.

Already curious and full of personality, Stude is now exploring the rolling hills and pasture alongside the herd.

Come experience the beauty of the Continental Divide for yourself! Hike the scenic trails, enjoy the prairie views, and visit the growing bison herd this summer. 🌾🥾🦬

You never know what you might discover out on the trails… 👀

**** NOTE, you can't drive up to see the bison. You can park in the main lot and take the trail up to the bison overlook. ***
