Thank you to everyone who came to Mystery at the Mansion this year! The results are in: 439 of you submitted answers to who was the culprit selling the stolen Bill of Rights. Across both performances, the top five suspects were:

- Quinn Jones, the shady FBI Agent, and Herbert Hammond, the Mysterious Caterer, were tied for most votes, receiving 74 votes each.
- Billie Sawyer, the politician, received 65 votes.
- Gerard Washington, the historian, received 45 votes
- And finally, Robin Parker, the collector, came in fifth with 31 votes.

While these suspects were the most popular picks, none of them were the culprit - the real criminal was actually Paulie Ewing, the rookie reporter! Only 17 people across both performances correctly guessed that Paulie was the culprit - congratulations to those great (or lucky) detectives! Everyone who guessed correctly will be entered into a drawing for prizes, and we will notify the winners of that drawing by email soon!

Once again, thank you to everyone who attended Mystery at the Mansion this year!

Join us this coming Monday, October 26, at 10 a.m. for a reading of the children's book "One Tiny Vote"! You can reserve your spot in the comments below!

Written and illustrated by Maryn Arreguin, "One Tiny Vote" introduces elementary-aged children to concepts like civic engagement and being involved in their local communities.

The book will be read aloud by award winning journalist and WNDU news anchor Tricia Sloma in Kidsfirst, and the first 50 children who attend will receive a free copy of "One Tiny Vote"! We hope to see you at this free event!

On Sunday, November 15, at 4 pm experience a behind-the-scenes tour of the 38-room Oliver Mansion led by Curator of Copshaholm Amber Gabel. During the tour you will explore the fascinating evolution of the historic home's technology. This specialty tour grants you rare access to the lower levels of both the Oliver Mansion and the carriage house, showing you firsthand the advanced engineering that brought light, heat, and water to the Olivers. It offers a comprehensive look at the innovative infrastructure that made this landmark a model of modern comfort at the turn of the century.

Tickets are $30/general, $25/museum members.

After winning their first game against another college in 1889, Notre Dame football simply vanished — two full seasons with no opponents, no scores, no line of type in any newspaper, and no record of anyone deciding it should be that way. This is the story of the students who wouldn't let it die: a grieving younger brother rebuilding a team that didn't exist, and two undefeated Purdue champions who wandered back to South Bend and started coaching — and playing — for a school they never actually attended.

Episode 1: The Game They Didn't Know How to Play
In November 1887, the University of Michigan came to South Bend to play Notre Dame's first-ever football game — except Notre Dame didn't know how to play. The students had tried learning the sport from a rulebook, and it had not gone well, so the visitors spent the morning teaching it before anyone bothered to keep score. What they finally played lasted less than half a game and ended 8-0, but the record books still count it as the first meeting in one of college football's great rivalries.
