Catch Nancy Callan live in the Hot Shop at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma.

🗓 July 3, 5 & 6, 2025 (not the 4th!)

Watch as Nancy brings her bold, colorful sculptures to life, layer by layer, alongside her friends and the amazing MOG team.

While you’re there, don’t miss “Nancy Callan: Forces at Play,” her first museum survey exhibition, now on view. This vibrant show highlights the many ways Nancy uses hot glass as a canvas to reflect on the world around her.🔥✨

🌟 LAST WEEK!
LINO TAGLIAPIETRA | Currents of Light
on view through Saturday, June 28th

Tagliapietra‘s forms, colors, and surface techniques draw on a lifetime of travel, experimentation, and reflection. His pursuit of perfection within his craft is unparalleled, but his astonishing ability to capture rare beauty in his sculptures truly sets him apart. His vessels echo the places that have shaped his life: Asia, Africa, the Americas, and Europe. Interpreted through glass with precision and lyricism, Lino‘s sculptures range from the architectural to the poetical.

Few artists have left such a lasting imprint on their medium. Tagliapietra has redefined what is possible in glass as a maker, teacher, and visionary. We are proud to continue this legacy with his exhibition, Currents of Light.

🌟 We’re excited to announce A Really Big Group Show, the first summer group exhibition in our new Ship Canal space. This exhibition brings together a remarkable lineup of artists who help shape the cultural landscape of our region, makers working across glass, clay, metal, wood, paint, and found materials, each dedicated to pushing their medium forward.

Join us for an afternoon of music, snacks, drinks, and great company as we celebrate the exhibition and all of you.

Featured artists include Parks Anderson, Nancy Callan, Granite Calimpong, Ling Chun, Marita Dingus, Scott Fife, Lauren Grossman, Jef Gunn, Harold Hollingsworth, Mary Josephson, John Kiley, Dharma Strasser MacColl, Dante Marioni, Cathy McClure, Jeffry Mitchell, Eric Nelsen, Charlie Parriott, Michael Peterson, Preston Singletary, Bronson Shonk, Curtis Steiner, April Surgent, Matthew Szösz, Cappy Thompson, Jamie Walker, Patti Warashina, Dick Weiss, Mark Zirpel, and many others.
