Opening August 6 - The exhibition pairs recent works by Seattle-area artists Karen Kosoglad and Kathryn Altus uniting intimate figuration with the expansive presence of water.

Karen Kosoglad - Finding the Moment
Kathryn Altus - Water Work
August 6- 29
Artists’ Reception: First Thursday, August 6, 6-8 PM

Kosoglad’s paintings explore quiet, gestural moments with contemplative female figures, while Altus’ work centers on the shifting, elemental force of water in the Pacific Northwest—its horizons, currents, and dissolving boundaries. Together, the exhibition moves between body and landscape, tracing a shared sense of rhythm, reflection, and beauty.

1. Karen Kosoglad - Green Figure, collage and mixed media on paper, 10.25 x 7.25 in.
2. Kathryn Altus - Mouth of the Columbia, acrylic on canvas, 24 x 48 in.
