In honor of Tea Day, we’re celebrating a place where history was poured one cup at a time. ☕

Originally built by the Bailey brothers over 100 years ago, as a gas station, this small building found new life after a hurricane as a temporary community store. The Baileys later gifted it to their aunt, Miss Charlotta Matthews, who transformed it into the charming tea room so many remember today.

Places evolve and stories shift, and without care, they can be lost. That’s why preserving spaces like this matters.

Stop by the Sanibel Historical Museum and Village and experience a piece of that history for yourself!

We’d love to welcome you before we close out the season!
