Odessa Art Gallery-Sanibel & Captiva

10/10/2026

Come join us on 10/21/26 for w**e, art and good vibes. We open at noon and will be at the gallery all day. We have so many fun things planned for you this season—book groups, writing and poetry workshops, and some surprise guest artists that you won’t want to miss. We can’t wait to see you 🎉 And if you are out and about the day before 10/20 please come find us at Art in the Wild, where as one of five artists chosen to be part of Ding Darling’s enduring legacy, we’ll be creating an 18 x 24” plein air painting of the gorgeous surroundings that we are lucky enough to call home.

When your friend has an art gallery, you get a house call. We are happy to bring our art to you to see what works in your space.

The Rococo art style (1700s) features cherubs, shells, roses, sculptural elements and ornamental motifs. It is one of my favorite art movements and an enduring influence in my work. (The word Rococo is associated with the French “Rocaille”, referring to decorative rock-and-shell ornamentation.) The angel faces were fashioned out of clay and then adhered with plaster and glazes. Making this piece was an absolute delight.

New prints available in the gallery — coming soon. I just love the blues and purples in this painting. “Lavender Angel”

Choosing the right frame for a key piece of art can tie an entire room together.
