Meet Elise Sewell, one of our 23 artists at Tower Gallery!
She’s a painter who finds beauty in the things we see every day—and sometimes barely notice. From a favorite bowl to the play of light across a room, ordinary moments become something special on her canvases.

Elise grew up near New York City and made Southwest Florida home 15 years ago. Before becoming a full-time artist, she spent 25 years designing fine jewelry for names like Harry Winston, Bailey Banks & Biddle, and Zales. She studied at Rhode Island School of Design, Michigan State University, and the Art Students League of New York, and now works primarily in oil on linen.

Elise’s paintings range from contemporary still lifes to portraits and landscapes. She loves exploring color, transparency, and reflection—and the way light can make familiar things feel brand new. Her work is shown locally and internationally, and she’s a member of the National Association of Women Artists and local art associations.
