Congratulations to Texas State University History senior Mason Moreno on his latest publication in The Dylan Review!

His paper explores a rare 1986 audiocassette interview between Sam Shepard and Bob Dylan, from The Wittliff Collections archives in the Sam Shepard Papers. Mason's work offers a unique look into Dylan’s creative process and candid reflections during a pivotal era in his songwriting career.

What's next? Mason plans to continue his work as a Dylan scholar by diving into his next archival discovery: an unproduced movie script treatment based on Dylan and Shepard's collaborative song, "Brownsville Girl."
