Empire Seven Studios (E7S) is an Art Gallery/Boutique located in the North district of Downtown San Jose, CA. Founders Carlos Araujo & Jennifer Ahn established E7S in 2008, and since then has become a beacon to an underground art culture in the South Bay. Known for housing great talents and featuring art exhibition openings every 2nd Friday of the month, E7S has come a long way from its early beginnings as a project with friends. The consistent hard work over the years is a testament to the vigorous tasks and efforts played by each individual involved from the start. What is now our life’s work is a privilege to share and enjoy with the public. E7S humbly pays tribute to the hard working artist; sacrificing day in and day out to push their work. This is a reminder that it’s because of them we are here and we will never conform or settle. Instead, E7S will continue to grow as was intended from the very beginning but staying rooted within its community. We would like to give a big thanks to all of you who have been supportive in this ongoing experience. E7S is a place where good company and friendships are intertwined and the Arts are forever appreciated.

Hello friends,

We have some great news to share.

Kensuke Takahashi’s Yaoyorozu｜八百万 exhibition at Empire Seven Studios has officially sold out.

All of the hand-painted canvases have found homes, and we couldn’t be happier to see the work continue its journey into private collections. Seeing people connect with the work, and ultimately decide to live with it, is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do here at E7S.

That said, the exhibition isn’t over just yet.

Yaoyorozu｜八百万 will remain on view at Empire Seven Studios through November 29, and as always, our exhibitions are free and open to the public, unless otherwise posted.

For those of you who have been following Kensuke’s work, we still have traditionally handmade Japanese scrolls available, along with a few of the limited edition prints of Kensuke’s 2025 San Jose Walls mural.
