“The Treasure is the Growth,” curated by and
We took a field trip this past Saturday to .gallery in San Francisco.
The exhibition features a variety of multi media works from paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography, and more! Mari, Robi and friends, did great installing a variety of artworks making it fun to view and explore the walls; as if the walls were a painting on its own.
Opening night was a full house full of creatives visiting from everywhere… even as far as Japan. It was great seeing so many new and familiar faces but also reconnecting with old friends!
Major props to Mari and Robbie for all the love and intention that went into curating another great exhibition that is a breath of fresh air.
On view through June 20, 2026
Location: SWIM Gallery
509 Ellis Street, San Francisco, California
Curators Note:
The Treasure is the Growth:
“This exhibit focuses on our personal endeavors that shape us over time. While distance, time and personal issues may separate us physically, there is a shared energy that continues to bring us together.
Through curiosity and a love for making, we remain in conversation with one another, exchanging inspiration while, pushing forward in our own practices.
The works in this exhibition mirrors our growth, individuality, not only as an outcome but as a process - shaped by perseverance and the quiet influence we have on each other. In this sense, the true treasure is not a destination or final outcome, but the ongoing act of becoming and growing. Works will vary from paintings, mixed media, multimedia, ceramics, drawings and more.”
