WHAT IS OUR IMPACT when coming to Gabon?

We would like to encourage more people from the West to ask this vs. many who only ask what they can take from Gabon.

We don’t come just to get things for ourselves. That approach is inherently extractive, which is the very mindset that causes us so much suffering—and the thing that we need to heal in the Western world.

We come to receive, yes: healing, blessings, inspiration, cleansing, clarity, greater understanding, mentorship, deeper connection with our soul. The list goes on.

And the healing we receive is for the very purpose of sharing it beyond our individual being, into the ecology and the a broader global community.

We also come to give, with the spirit of reciprocity, which comes from authentic tribal relationship, a continuum of connection, and active collaboration.

We have been going regularly to Gabon for a dozen years.

We have learned from both beautiful and challenging experiences throughout that time, and the learning never ends.

We feel blessed to have enduring deep relationships with places, elders, and communities that we have come to know, love, and trust.
