THIS SUNDAY! May 31 at 1:30 PM in SAMFA's Grand Hall will feature musician Kelley Mickwee. San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts will launch the Legendary Songwriter Series, a collaborative effort with Green Apple Music Series San Angelo to highlight the stories behind the songs.

Mickwee will be in San Angelo to open for Brandy Clark as part of the Green Apple Music Series on Saturday night, May 30, at the Books and Bates Theater. Kicking off the collaboration between Green Apple and SAMFA, she will then stay over to do the songwriter session on Sunday afternoon.

Each Family Day in 2026, the San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts prints a Collector Card for families to grab! Each month features a different piece from our permanent collection or current exhibition. SAMFA's Art of Nature Summer Camp 2026 is open for registration!

This camp will take place Mondays through Wednesdays from 8:30 AM to 2 PM. The Quest of the Conchos and River Ramblers will include different nature-based crafts. Quest of the Conchos will include a sheep painting craft and a cave-painting project. River Ramblers will include plein air painting activities and planting.
