“The Blue One” by Glass Artist Peter Wright

After two decades in commercial construction, from Vail to Chicago, Peter Wright sought a new creative path. In 1994, he founded Wright Publishing Company, partnering with artists to produce and market limited-edition fine art, primarily bronze sculptures.

His introduction to glass came in 2000 through renowned sculptor William Morris. Captivated by the process of shaping molten glass, Wright began studying at Pilchuck Glass School, where he quickly developed a passion for the medium.

17 years ago today, a dream took root in an old St Petersburg warehouse.

What began as a vision has grown into a thriving destination for glass art, creativity, education, and community. Over the past 17 years, we've welcomed thousands of visitors, exhibited artists from around the world, mentored and provided residencies to hundreds of emerging and mid-career artists, hosted countless events, and helped celebrate the magic of glass art every day.

To every artist, collector, student, staff, supporter, and friend who has been a part of this journey - THANK YOU!!!
You helped transform a warehouse into a place where creativity flourishes.

This adorable Sea Turtle was sculpted by renowned glass artist Raven Skyriver.

Born in 1982, Skyriver started blowing glass in high school at the age of sixteen. Raven’s mentor, Lark Dalton, taught him how to build glass blowing equipment and trained him in Venetian technique; this enabled Raven to build his own workshop. Soon thereafter, Raven joined the William Morris team at Karen Willenbrink-Johnsen’s request. There he worked for the following seven years, learning sculptural glass. Since William Morris’s retirement, Raven has continued to focus in the area of sculpture. His depiction of marine life is inspired by his island upbringing and informed by the creatures that inhabit this fragile ecosystem.

A striking fusion of tradition and innovation, this sculpture by Pietro and Riccardo Ferro invites viewers into its layered interior through glossy optical windows that reveal the many dimensions within. Sons of the renowned Murano glass master Paolo Ferro, the brothers carry forward a legacy of exceptional craftsmanship while pushing the boundaries of contemporary glass art.

After decades collaborating with some of Murano’s most celebrated artists and studios, Pietro and Riccardo have developed a distinctive artistic voice of their own—creating sculptural works that blend technical mastery with modern design. Through transparency, depth, and light, this piece offers a glimpse into the endless possibilities of glass.

Untitled number 29 is among one of the many artworks by the Ferro Brothers available exclusively at Duncan McClellan Gallery.

Dedicated to Jane Goodall, this sculpture celebrates a life spent observing, learning from, and connecting with the natural world. A layered rainforest scene emerges within the glass, echoing the sense of curiosity and wonder that has inspired generations through her work.

Alison Ruzsa creates narrative glass sculptures by layering painted imagery within clear molten glass. Drawing on her background in printmaking, she builds depth both physically and visually, allowing each work to reveal itself gradually from different angles.

Stephanie Trenchard creates cast glass sculptures that weave together personal memories, historical narratives, and universal human experiences through a rich visual language of symbolic forms and imagery.

Her sculpted and painted elements are encased within solid sand-cast glass and often assembled from multiple stacked or nested components, creating layered works that invite multiple interpretations. Rooted in both technical mastery and collaboration,

Trenchard embraces the fluid nature of glass as a storytelling medium, crafting poetic narratives that explore the artistic experience, personal relationships, and the enduring connections between past and present.
