This 18th-century “trade blade” carries evidence of a remarkable journey. Retooled multiple times as it traveled along historic trade routes, the sword features engraved sun and moon symbols, imagery found across cultures throughout antiquity.

This 17th-century, or possibly earlier, Khanjarli dagger from South India is a striking example of historic craftsmanship. Its high-quality steel blade features a pronounced central ridge running its length, forming a distinctive diamond-shaped point. Traditionally, daggers like this were fitted with handles made from ivory, wood, or a combination of both.
