Celebrating 25 years! We will be releasing events and specials happening throughout the closing season to celebrate our BIG Birthday! Historic Attractions is temporarily closed and will reopen on April 1st, 2026. Historic Attractions is not only home to famous cars, but also a wide array of movie memorabilia. Some of those pieces include Marilyn Monroe’s nightgown, a sweater worn by Hollywood lege

nd James Dean, and an outfit worn by Elvis Presley. In addition, a large section of the museum is dedicated to John F. Kennedy, along with the “Day in Dallas” display.

Day in History: “I Have a Dream”

On August 28, 1963, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered one of the most famous speeches in American history — his “I Have a Dream” speech — during the March on Washington for Jobs and Freedom.

Standing on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., Dr. King spoke to an estimated 250,000 people gathered to advocate for civil rights and racial equality.

In his powerful speech, Dr. King shared his vision of a future where people would not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character. His words became a defining moment of the Civil Rights Movement and continue to inspire people around the world.

📜 Did you know? The speech took place nearly 100 years after President Abraham Lincoln issued the Emancipation Proclamation.

Our last Cruise Night for the season is coming up! 🥹🚗

📢September 9th @ 4pm-7pm: Come to Historic Attractions and see cool cars, listen to great music, and enjoy some food and sweet lemonade! Remember, it is starting to get darker earlier, so we moved up our times by an hour!

😲The first 50 cars will get a sweet prize, since it is our last one, PLUS we will be handing out goodie bags to all of our spectators. Joe Locke-Hits DJ Cruise Nights And Car Shows will have some great prizes too, so make sure you register with him!
